Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead hands-on electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring reliability and high availability across the Sparks data center.

You will supervise 24x7 onsite technicians, manage budgets, drive safety and security, mentor staff, and coordinate with support teams on improvement projects and incident response. Qualifications include 3+ years MS Office, 5+ years in management with 8–10 reports, and 3+ years in electrical/mechanical

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products.
• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience with 8–10 direct reports.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure, maintaining high availability and performance.
• Manage on-site teams of 24x7 shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Drive a safety and security culture and compliance within the team.
• Hire, coach, and promote team members, managing career development and performance.
• Promote a healthy team culture and peak morale.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Act as escalation point for facilities‑related issues and oversee routine and emergency services.
