Job summary

QTS Data Centers in the United States is seeking a Manager of Facilities Operations Engineering to drive the data center facility strategy and continuous improvement across the portfolio. You will lead engineering activities for coordination, installation, and integration of electrical and mechanical systems supporting 24x7 critical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or HVAC or equivalent.
• 3+ years in engineering within data centers or critical environments.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 data center operations support to maintain uptime and uptime SLAs.
• Lead site engineering projects and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and electrical codes.
• Support travel 10-30% to other sites.
