Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Facility Management Service Delivery Manager to oversee the Austin Data Center and San Angelo Data Center. This role requires leadership of physical operations, security, environmental controls, and power systems across both sites.

Based in the Austin-San Angelo area, you will travel regularly between data centers to ensure high availability, contract compliance, and ongoing infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in facilities/ Data Center management or equivalent leadership roles.
• 7+ years in enterprise-scale data center facilities management.
• Experience with Uptime Institute Tier II or Tier II+ facility management.
• Strong power systems expertise: UPS, diesel generators, PDUs, power distribution.
• Experience managing CRAC/HVAC cooling and multi-site facilities.
• Ability to travel regularly between Austin and San Angelo, TX.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for physical operations at both Austin and San Angelo Data Centers.
• Manage physical security compliance and CCTV/access control at both sites.
• Oversee environmental controls (HVAC, CRAC) and cooling capacities (ADC/SDC).
• Lead critical power systems, including UPS, generators, PDUs, and dual-feed power.
• Drive power optimization and utility cost management; report costs to DIR.
• Coordinate future CDC construction projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage the Austin Data Center lease through contract term.
• Travel between Austin and San Angelo to support both data centers.
