Qualifications

• 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
• 8+ years of enterprise data center networking experience
• Demonstrated experience with MPLS, BGP, and OSPF routing design and operations
• Cisco data center platform experience including Cisco ASR routers and Nexus switches
• SDN design and operations experience
• Experience with firewall management and network security operations
• Experience managing multi-tenant network environments including VRF and MPLS
• Strong understanding of enterprise data center network architecture, routing, switching, security, and connectivity
• Experience managing complex, high-availability network environments
• Strong network service delivery and operational leadership experience
• Cisco CCNP (Data Center or Enterprise) Certification
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsabilités

• Maintain accountability for data center network services across ADC, SDC, and CyrusOne nodes
• Manage DCN Ring operations including a 20 Gbps MPLS network across multiple locations
• Oversee LAN operations including hundreds of data switches, fabric extenders, firewalls and load balancers
• Manage CyrusOne colocation nodes in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio
• Coordinate public cloud connectivity across Azure Government, AWS Government and commercial
• Oversee approximately 60 Gbps of cloud connectivity via Megaport
• Provide operational oversight of routing and security protocols (OSPF, MPLS, MP-BGP, BFD)
• Lead SDN operations and evolution; automate firewall rule management
• Coordinate network service delivery, performance, change management, incident resolution
• Maintain network availability, stability, security, and performance across the scope environment

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Data Center Network Service Delivery Manager to support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).This position provides overall network service delivery leadership across the Austin Data Center (ADC), San Angelo Data Center (SDC), and CyrusOne colocation nodes in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.The successful candidate will oversee a complex enterprise data center network environment encompassing theDCN Ring, LAN infrastructure, firewalls, load balancers, cloud connectivity, VRFs, routing, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), remote access infrastructure, firewall automation, and network laboratory operations.

Candidate must be willing to travel to both sites- Austin and San Angelo TX. and must be local to the Austin TX area or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintainoverall accountability for all data center network servicesacross:
  • Austin Data Center (ADC)
  • San Angelo Data Center (SDC)
  • CyrusOne colocation nodes
• ManageDCN Ring operations, including a20 Gbps MPLS network across five locations:

• Oversee LAN operations at both Consolidated Data Centers, including approximately:
  • 205 data switches
  • 164 fabric extenders
  • 64 firewalls
  • 44 load balancers
• ManageCyrusOne colocation nodesin:
  • Austin
  • Dallas
  • San Antonio
• Manage public cloud connectivity across:
  • Azure Government
  • AWS Government
  • Azure Commercial
  • AWS Commercial
• Oversee approximately60 Gbps of cloud connectivity via Megaport.
• Manage approximately40–50 VRFs.
• Provide operational oversight of:
  • OSPF
  • MPLS
  • MP-BGP
  • BFD
• LeadSoftware-Defined Networking (SDN) operations and evolution.
• Overseeautomated firewall rule management.
• Manage a minimum500-user two-factor remote access infrastructure.
• Maintain theLAN laboratoryused for pre-production change testing.
• Coordinate network service delivery, operational performance, change management, incident resolution, and infrastructure evolution.
• Maintain network availability, stability, security, and performance across the in-scope environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
• 8+ years of enterprise data center networking experience.
• Demonstrated experience withMPLS, BGP, and OSPF routing design and operations
• Cisco data center platform experience including:

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
