Job summary

H5 Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Data Center Building Engineer to maintain and operate all mechanical and electrical systems in the campus. The role supports colocation customers and reports to the Facilities Manager.

You will monitor UPS, diesel generators, chillers, HVAC, pumps, and fire systems, perform routine inspections, assist external vendors, and participate in safety trainings. The position follows a 4 day on, 4 days off 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of electrical and mechanical experience in high availability environments.
• College/Technical degree preferred but will consider equivalent work experience.
• Experience with electrical/pneumatic controls and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate all mechanical and electrical systems for the data center campus.
• Provide maintenance support, learn building controls for chillers, HVAC, cooling towers and fire systems.
• Oversee third party activities and assist in security-related duties as needed.
• Support uptime through inspections and reliable service delivery to colocation customers.
• Assist in safety policy adherence and daily operations procedures.
