Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Data Center Operations professional to monitor and maintain 24x7 data center facilities, ensuring uptime and adherence to SOPs and safety standards. The role involves hands-on support of electrical and mechanical systems, incident handling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet site obligations.

The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years in mission critical facilities, a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and readiness for on-call

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfort working with heights up to 16 feet to access spaces.
• Experience in mission critical facilities operating / engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with UPS, HVAC, generators, and fire/life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand site layout, MEP systems, and equipment locations.
• Maintain and operate data center infrastructure to achieve uptime and compliance.
• Develop/change SOPs for site equipment and processes.
• Respond to unplanned events and conduct rounds to detect anomalies.
• Oversee maintenance, change management, and vendor activity.
