Job summary
Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an Electrical Power Monitoring System Engineer (EPMS) to support mission-critical data center infrastructure in the Ashburn, Virginia area. This on-site role will serve as the technical SME responsible for reliability, resiliency, and performance of facility systems.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of data center operations leadership experience.
- Deep knowledge of chillers, AHUs, HVAC, electrical switchgear, generators.
- Experience designing, commissioning, and operating data center electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems.
- Familiar with EPMS and BMS systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operation, maintenance, and optimization of critical data center electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
- Support facility projects through design review, engineering evaluations, commissioning activities, and operational readiness assessments.
- Review technical drawings, construction documents, and installation plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Utilize EPMS and BMS to monitor and maintain facility performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party service vendors to execute preventative maintenance and drive continuous improvement.
