Job summary

Socket.dev in New Carlisle, Indiana, is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, chiller and cooling equipment, and fire/life safety. Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance, or 1+ years of mechanical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting of facility events within internal SLAs.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
