Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to join our frontline team responsible for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of data center facilities. You will work on standby diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, UPS, PDUs, CRAHU cooling, pumps, and related systems across multiple site locations in Ohio.

The role requires physical work, ability to travel between sites, and willingness to work long shifts up to 12 hours with potential on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Flexibile schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance, or 1+ years of mechanical facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS systems and troubleshoot facility events.
• Assist in rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
