Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical facilities, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and life-safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS and assist in troubleshooting.
• Support PM, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
