Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center infrastructure, including diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment.

You will work on front-line electrical and mechanical systems across multiple sites, ensuring high uptime and safety standards. The role requires willingness to travel between data centers, work long shifts, and support change management with precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with data center infrastructure preferred.
• Ability to travel between data center locations as needed.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and on-call rotations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds and monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS for uptime and performance.
• Troubleshoot facility events within SLA and coordinate with vendors.
• Perform rack installs, PM, and repairs of equipment.
• Support change management through technical documentation.
