Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer to support critical data center environments. The role requires hands-on maintenance, coordination with vendors, and strong communication within a 7x24 engineering team.

Candidate should have an electrical license and EPA certification, with data center experience preferred. The position involves overtime, shift differential, and is onsite with Fidelity's transition to a primarily onsite model.

Qualifications

• Electrical license and EPA certification required.
• 3+ years of data center engineering and supervision preferred.
• AAS in a technical discipline preferred.
• Ability to read construction prints and O&M manuals.
• Familiarity with BMS, EPMS, and CMMS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of fire safety systems and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections, testing, calibration and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems, using in-house staff, vendors, and engineers.
• Direct third party vendors to augment in-house resources to meet time and cost goals.
• Maintain infrastructure operations and control systems to prevent unauthorized access or risk.
• Oversee preventive and remedial maintenance on electrical, HVAC, power, cooling, and humidification systems.
• Prepare daily log entries with accuracy and timely closure of issues.
• Perform site inspections and rounds for completeness and accuracy.
