Meta is seeking a commercially experienced Energy Manager to lead data center energy sourcing and strategy across U.S. markets. You will manage relationships with utilities, generators, pipelines, and marketers while shaping regulatory outcomes and supply solutions.

The role emphasizes negotiating fuel and electricity contracts, advancing bridge power, on-site generation, and sustainability goals for a growing data-center portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years navigating commercial energy issues across electricity and/or natural gas.
• Experience representing business interests to suppliers, utilities, pipelines, governments and regulators.
• Experience negotiating energy supply or fuel agreements (PPA, ESAs, tariffs, or gas contracts).
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and related analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial relationships for data centers across diverse U.S. energy markets.
• Influence rate-making and energy supply solutions with utilities and market operators.
• Develop relationships with regulators, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
• Negotiate and deliver new commercial agreements spanning electricity, generation, and fuel supply.
