Job summary

Power Engineering Services, LLC seeks Electrical Apparatus & Relay Technicians for large-scale data center construction and commissioning in West Texas. 1–2+ years of hands-on testing in power systems, electrical apparatus, relay protection, and commissioning is required.

The role demands 60+ hour weeks with paid hotel and per diem options. Ideal candidates will have field experience testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical distribution equipment, and be capable of

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical distribution equipment.
• Experience with low and medium voltage circuit breakers, relay testing, and protection schemes.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and relay settings files.
• Willingness to travel and work extended schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical distribution equipment on data center projects.
• Troubleshoot and maintain HV/LV systems at site locations.
• Document test results and support acceptance testing and turnover.
