Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for data center construction in Chesterton, IN on the night shift. The role focuses on supervising electrical subcontractors, coordinating with the project manager, and ensuring work is on time and within budget.

The candidate should have extensive data center/MEP experience, knowledge of back-up power systems, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive commissioning and safety programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data center / critical facilities MEP construction experience.
• Heavy understanding of backup power and power distribution systems.
• Experience directing and/or supporting commissioning efforts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
• Experience managing change orders, billing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain liaison with client, A/E firm, and subcontractors to facilitate construction at the data center site.
• Establish project objectives, performance standards, and methods for procedures within policy boundaries.
• Provide leadership for all field electrical work and coordinate with PM and subcontractors.
• Keep stakeholders informed of project progress throughout lifecycle.
• Understand electrical systems including testing, startup, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while maintaining client relations.
