Job summary

Zekelman Industries seeks a Data Center Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution on Texas projects. You will manage safety, quality and schedules while coordinating with clients, engineers and subcontractors on a multi-site portfolio.

The role requires extensive travel and hands-on leadership of large crews. Responsibilities include planning manpower, reviewing drawings and BIM data, and overseeing installation of critical electrical infrastructure such as MV distribution, switchgear,

Qualifications

10+ years of electrical construction experience.
5+ years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or comparable leadership role.
Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, LOTO procedures.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and BIM models.
Proven success leading multiple crews and driving schedule performance.
Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Texas.

Responsibilities

Provide field leadership for electrical construction activities, safety, quality and schedules.
Lead foremen, craft professionals, subcontractors, and support personnel.
Develop manpower forecasts, crew loading, shifts and resource plans.
Manage daily work plans, look-ahead schedules and sequencing.
Review drawings, specs, submittals, BIM layouts before field release.
Coordinate with owners, engineers, vendors, inspectors and turnover teams.
Oversee installation of medium-voltage systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, busway, cable trays, grounding and controls.
Enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E and LOTO safety requirements.
Coordinate inspections, startup activities, testing, energization and turnover.
