Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Manager to lead safety strategy and compliance for a Data Center project. The role focuses on building and enforcing safety protocols to protect people, equipment, and operations within data center environments.

You will develop, implement, and continuously improve electrical safety programs, conduct arc flash risk assessments, and lead training for employees and contractors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical safety, EHS, or related field.
• Experience in data center/mission-critical facilities or high-voltage environments preferred.
• Deep knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910/1926, and NEC codes.
• CESCP or similar certification a plus.
• Strong communication and training/facilitation skills.
• Ability to assess risk and make sound safety decisions under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve electrical safety programs per NFPA 70E, OSHA, and NEC.
• Conduct arc flash risk assessments and job safety planning.
• Lead electrical safety training for employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with facilities, engineering, and operations for safe high-voltage work practices.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance documentation, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Support commissioning and maintenance in data center environments.
• Champion proactive safety culture at all levels.
