Job summary

SST Direct in Abilene, TX seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects for data centers and mission-critical facilities from preconstruction through completion.

The role oversees scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor management, safety, quality, and client communications, coordinating with field teams and engineers to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of electrical construction, project engineering, or electrical project management.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership capacity.
• Experience managing electrical construction projects for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and project financials.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final completion, focusing on data center and mission-critical facilities.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasting, procurement, contracts, and overall project performance.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors, vendors, and specialty trades.
• Coordinate electrical activities with mechanical, structural, and other building systems.
• Plan work sequences with field teams to maintain project schedules and procurement of equipment.
• Track financials, cost projections, commitments, and forecasting; communicate status to clients.
