Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades in Abilene, TX, seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects for data centers and other mission-critical facilities from preconstruction through completion.

The role oversees scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor management, quality, safety, risk management, and client communication, coordinating with field teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
• 7+ years in electrical construction, project engineering, or electrical project management.
• 1–2 years in a managerial or team leadership capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; must be completed within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center and mission-critical electrical projects from preconstruction to completion.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasting, procurement, contracts, and overall project performance.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and specialty trades.
• Coordinate electrical construction activities with mechanical, structural, architectural, and other systems.
• Plan electrical work sequences with field teams to maintain schedules.
• Coordinate procurement of electrical equipment and specialty systems.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, costs, and risks; resolve issues collaboratively.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, pay apps, and project documentation.
• Track financials and communicate status to clients and stakeholders.
• Develop Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers; maintain field presence.
