Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical seeks a full-time Electrical Construction Estimator-Data Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

You will prepare estimates for electrical construction projects up to $50M, write proposals, and lead the proposal review process to ensure complete, accurate documentation before client submission. You will own the pre-con phase documentation, collaborate with the Project Team on budgets and buyouts, and coordinate change orders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' estimating or cost control experience in commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Accubid experience required.
• Change order and new project pricing experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for electrical construction projects up to $50M.
• Write proposals capturing scope and costs.
• Lead proposal reviews for complete documentation.
• Own pre-con phase documentation and hand-off to Project Team.
• Coordinate with Project Team on budgets and buyouts.
• Establish project-specific change order formats and ensure accuracy.
• Serve as front-line client contact.
• Perform complete takeoffs and understand project specs.
• Coordinate overall estimating effort for bids.
• Negotiate with vendors for best cost.
• Support other departments; assist with start-up and change-order costs.
• Travel to sites as required.
