Interstates is seeking an Electrical Estimator II to translate drawings and project goals into clear, competitive estimates for data center telecom and fiber projects. You’ll collaborate with clients, vendors, engineers, estimators, and field teams from bid through handoff, shaping strategy and identifying risks early.

You’ll work in a team-focused environment that values judgment, experience, and continuous improvement as you help define scope, pricing, and execution readiness for complex bids.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years electrical estimating experience or related work in electrical construction, telecom, fiber, or data center projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication; collaborative approach.

Aufgaben

• Develop accurate, competitive estimates using Interstates’ tools and systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to define scope and pricing.
• Estimate work for data center telecom, fiber, structured cabling, pathways, and related infrastructure.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and other project costs.
• Document assumptions, clarifications, exclusions, and decisions throughout the bid process.
• Partner with clients, vendors, engineers, project managers, and field teams to develop practical solutions.
• Support proposal development, bid strategy, and client presentations.
• Assist with contract reviews, negotiations, and project handoffs to execution teams.
