Job summary

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, seeks an energetic electrical engineer to lead electrical system design for data center applications, including HVAC systems and modular data centers. You will engage in client conversations, pricing, design development, and documentation, with potential stamping of designs.

The role partners with cross-functional teams to review performance, SOPs, and innovative design solutions, while operating in a hybrid on-site role in Gilbert, AZ with remote

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree with PE eligibility in Arizona.
• 2–6 years in low/medium voltage electrical design.
• Familiar with NEC/CEC, UL/CSA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license; travel to Gilbert, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design for data center equipment and MDC projects.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings and layouts.
• Perform electrical calculations like MCA and MOP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on SOPs and VAVE.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and field deployments.
