Job summary

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, is seeking an energetic electrical engineer to lead electrical system design for data center applications including HVAC systems, modular data centers, and related equipment. This hybrid role requires regular on-site work in Gilbert, AZ, with the flexibility to work remotely as business needs allow.

You will participate in client conversations, perform design development, code reviews, equipment certification, and support during manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree required and PE licensure eligibility in Arizona.
• 2–6 years of low/medium voltage electrical design experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC/CEC, UL/CSA standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license; occasional travel to Gilbert facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design for data center AHU, CDU, and MDC projects; develop and test electrical designs.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings: schematics, wiring diagrams, cable layouts, panel layouts.
• Perform calculations for MCA, MOP, and circuit loading; troubleshoot fabrication/test issues.
