Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Degree and registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona.
• 8+ years of work experience in low/medium voltage electrical design or related fields.
• Knowledge of NEC/CEC, UL/CSA standards for low/medium voltage design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver's license; occasional travel mostly in Gilbert, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design leadership for electrical system design of data center equipment (AHU, CDU, MDC) and related systems.
• Develop and test electrical drawings, schematics, wire harnesses, and panel layouts for HVAC equipment and data center applications.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and Silent-Aire standards; review and prepare BOMs, submittals, and engineering change requests.
• Lead testing, troubleshooting, and optimization with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, R&D).
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; drive SOPs and VAVE initiatives for consistent engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost reduction and performance improvements.
