Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for Data Center Operations to design, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs. This role ensures safe, compliant, and sustainable operation of data center facilities, safeguarding personnel and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include policy development, safety culture leadership, KPI monitoring, and risk assessments across electrical, HVAC, and fire systems, while coordinating with engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience, ideally within data centers, industrial, or high-tech environments.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks such as OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies, procedures, and standards specific to data center environments.
• Champion a culture of safety by taking ownership of initiatives that protect people and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Serve as a technical resource to senior leadership, ensuring consistent application of EHS tools and alignment with regional strategic goals.
• Collaborate with EHS staff and operations teams to execute the regional EHS business plan and monitor key performance indicators.
• Build strong working relationships across operations, EHS, sales, and support teams to ensure consistent safety practices across regional projects and offices.
• Oversee on-site EHS performance, including subcontractor activities, and identify opportunities for improvement through ongoing monitoring and analysis.
