Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an E&I Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of mission-critical electrical systems on a Data Center project in Abernathy, Texas. You will oversee E&I Superintendents, develop commissioning plans, and ensure on-time, compliant execution across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of E&I commissioning and 10+ years in E&I construction, with strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills and experience managing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of E&I commissioning experience and 10+ years of E&I construction experience.
• Proven experience leading commissioning teams on major industrial projects; data centers a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project commissioning execution plans and schedules.
• Supervise and mentor E&I Superintendents on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Quality, Safety, and Field Operations.
• Review and approve commissioning documentation (MOPs, test scripts, reports).
• Lead commissioning meetings and client updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets and staffing for commissioning activities across projects.
• Escalate risks, delays, or resource needs to senior leadership.
• Provide weekly reports.
