Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Lead Consultant to join our CST team and support data center clients with site selection, environmental and technical due diligence, civil/site development review, feasibility assessment, and early-stage project planning.

The successful candidate will combine assistant project management capabilities with a civil engineering background to help coordinate multidisciplinary due diligence assignments and evaluate site development considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, chemistry, physics, biology, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of relevant consulting experience including civil/site development or land development.
• Experience supporting project management activities: scope, schedule, budget, meetings, action tracking, deliverables.
• Knowledge of site development principles: grading, drainage, utilities, permitting, interpretation of conceptual site plans, Civil 3D drawings, surveys, and studies.
• Strong technical writing, organization, communication, problem-solving, and client-service skills; experience with CAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, GIS, data centers, mission-critical, industrial projects; EIT/PE credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in delivering data center due diligence assignments, assisting with scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, maintain project schedules, track actions, and provide status updates for timely execution.
• Prepare materials for client meetings, document decisions, track follow-up actions, and contribute to progress updates.
• Review site development concepts, including master plans, test fits, constraints, utilities, grading, stormwater, and permitting considerations to support due diligence.
• Prepare and quality-review client-ready reports, risk summaries, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and technical deliverables across multiple projects.
