Mizuho is seeking a Project Finance professional in the Americas, based in New York. You will support structuring, underwriting and execution of non-recourse project finance for data centers and related power infrastructure, collaborating with senior bankers and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes financial analysis, client materials, and coordination across product teams to structure bank debt, private placements, and USPP transactions.

Qualifications

• MBA/MS/LLM or equivalent with quantitative background.
• 2-4 years of experience in Project Finance.
• 1 year of credit experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the structuring, underwriting and execution of non-recourse project finance transactions in the digital infrastructure sector, focusing on data centers and related power infrastructure.
• Prepare client marketing materials, financing proposals, transaction analyses and internal approval materials under senior bankers guidance.
• Support senior bankers in maintaining relationships with developers, financial sponsors, infrastructure investors and strategic operators.
• Coordinate across capital markets, rates/derivatives and ratings advisory teams to evaluate and execute financing solutions including bank debt, private placements and USPP transactions.
• Provide guidance to Analysts on transaction execution, financial analysis and internal processes.
• Assist in preparing credit applications, due diligence and financing documentation.
