Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for data center campuses. The role requires coordinating with Facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, commissioning agents, and operations staff to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in commercial construction and strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel for updates and budgets.
• Be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for each.
• Create and communicate monthly updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a master development program and capital budget for site(s).
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project(s).
• Implement multi-phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services and participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services.
• Coordinate with strategic procurement on equipment procurement and delivery.
