Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, seeks an Associate, Development to lead data center project development across the United States from our Chicago office.

The role requires 3–5 years in energy or related fields, a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 25%. This is a full-time, hybrid position with a base salary of $85k–$103k and a bonus program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years in energy industry or relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~25%.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship currently or in the future.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of US data center projects from Chicago office.
• Identify prospects, conduct site reconnaissance, and secure site control.
• Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
• Interface with officials, landowners, and stakeholders to communicate objectives.
• Coordinate with legal, engineering, environmental, interconnection, and construction teams.
• Manage budgets and schedules, identify risks, and solve problems.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers and government bodies.
