Job summary

Taleo is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician L3 to drive hardware installation, cabling, and deployment tasks in a high-performance data center environment.

You will troubleshoot, perform incident response, and support continuous operations, collaborating with engineers and site leadership to maintain uptime and performance. Strong English communication is essential for cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data center operations or similar environments.
• Proven hardware installation, rack & stack, and structured cabling experience.
• Experience provisioning/re-provisioning systems (USB, PXE, or network-based).
• Knowledge of IP addressing and bootstrapping network devices.
• Linux experience with basic scripting (Bash, Ansible).
• Experience with enterprise server hardware (Dell, HPE, Supermicro).
• Familiar with ITSM/DCIM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and change management.

Responsibilities

• Perform rack & stack, hardware installation, and structured cabling during deployment.
• Support provisioning, configuration, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure across Layer 1–3 (hardware, cabling, network).
• Serve as technical escalation point for complex issues.
• Interface with network devices via CLI (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Dell).
• Use Linux for troubleshooting and operational support.
• Maintain asset and inventory records in ITSM/DCIM tools.
• Participate in change management and production windows.
• Assist transition from build to steady-state operations with proper documentation.
• Ensure safety, security, and operational standards compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24x7 operations.
