Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Crew Lead – Data Center Services in Sterling, VA to coordinate and supervise data center logistics on-site. You will manage delivery crews, enforce safety standards, and ensure adherence to customer requirements and Expeditors’ standards.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics or data center services, strong leadership, and proven ability to communicate across teams. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position supporting high-value equipment and complex SOPs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in logistics, warehouse ops, or data center services.
• Experience leading teams in high-value, high-compliance environments preferred.
• Familiarity with data center operations and white-glove delivery enhances candidacy.
• Prior customer-facing experience.
• Strong leadership and on-site coordination skills.
• Strong SOP development skills based on experience and customer goals.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Able to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule delivery crews to data center sites.
• Oversee on-site safety, enforce SOPs, and ensure site regulations.
• Lead loading/unloading and manage shipping documentation.
• Coordinate across operations, sales, and service teams.
• Perform quality checks and document discrepancies.
• Support post-operation cleanup and site close-out.
