Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Manager, Critical Operations to lead data center facility strategy, improvements, and support for electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems. This role oversees maintenance teams, budgets, and safety standards in a 24x7 environment, with on-site requirements.

The candidate will drive energy efficiency initiatives, collaborate with Engineering, and manage escalations while ensuring regulatory compliance and high service levels for client environments.

Qualifications

• Five or more years workplace or professional equivalent experience.
• Five or more years people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facility policies and procedures.
• Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical, life-safety, and control systems.
• Plan and manage operating and capital budgets and cost control.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support customer environments.
• Lead and coach the operations team to ensure 24/7 uptime and safety.
