Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Louisiana is seeking a Cost Manager or Quantity Surveyor to support a global technology client on large-scale data center construction projects. The role focuses on cost control, budgeting, forecasting, change management, and commercial administration across the project lifecycle.

The position requires onsite presence Monday through Friday in Rayville, LA, with a per diem available for candidates who relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls experience in construction.
• Strong cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience.
• Experience reviewing contractor estimates, change orders, payment applications, and valuations.
• Knowledge of contracts, procurement, and commercial management principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cash flow reports, and cost-control systems.
• Monitor project costs to stay aligned with budgets and client objectives.
• Track commitments, expenditures, accruals and forecasts with timely reporting.
• Prepare cost reports, financial updates, and forecasts for clients and stakeholders.
• Support budgeting activities and review spend forecasts with clients and teams.
• Assist in developing risk registers and identify cost risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with finance to support cash flow forecasting and variance analysis.
• Review payment applications and provide recommendations on entitlements.
• Support invoicing, vendor pricing reviews, and commercial submissions.
• Assist with change management including cost impact assessments and recommendations.
