Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician to support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and startup of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) within AWS data centers.

You will work closely with Facilities teams to deploy, service, and upgrade controls across multiple sites, while ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires reading electrical schematics, handling low voltage systems, and mentoring staff on BMS/EPMS

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience with computer components and operating systems.
• Experience with mission critical low/medium voltage electrical and/or mechanical systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with BMS/EPMS and industrial automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS in multiple data centers.
• Mentor Facilities teams on BMS/EPMS operation and control.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and maintain programming code and hardware for BMS/EPMS systems.
