Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Technician for service and construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) within AWS data centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/Trade School diploma or Associate degree with one year experience in industrial instrumentation/controls or related electrical/mechanical operations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across multiple data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team members on operation and control of BMS and EPMS systems.
• Audit, maintain, and manage computer enterprise asset management systems for BMS/EPMS installations.
• Manage small to medium projects and programs.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot programming code and hardware for BMS/EPMS in data centers.
