Job summary

Fluidstack, based in New York, is building civilization-scale data centers and seeks an engineer to operate live BMS/SCADA/EPMS systems, keeping halls running during construction and ramping.

You will own real-time load, write procedures, diagnose faults, and tune sequences to balance reliability, efficiency, and cost. This role requires autonomous, high-ownership work at gigawatt scale.

Qualifications

• Operate live mission-critical data center facilities.
• Diagnose sequence faults and optimize controls.
• Write operating procedures and alarm runbooks.
• Explain reliability, efficiency, and cost tradeoffs.
• Catch drifting sensors before outages.

Responsibilities

• Run building management and controls systems in real time.
• Own real-time load and thermal control across new sites.
• Write standard operating procedures and alarm sequences.
• Diagnose and resolve floor faults during ramping.
• Tune control sequences to meet PUE targets.
