Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an experienced BMS engineer to program, configure, and verify BMS sequences for data center platforms. You will integrate equipment using BACnet/Modbus and collaborate across teams to ensure reliable commissioning.

The role requires hands-on development of sequences, in‑place documentation, and versioning so the next engineer can own the logic. Certification bonuses and advanced controls knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on programming of BMS platforms for data centers or large facilities.
• Write sequences from scratch and improve inherited ones.
• Integrate equipment over BACnet and Modbus with vendor protocols.
• Commission your own work and fix issues found in testing.
• Version and document logic for future engineers, with clear records.
• Bonus: Tridium, ALC, or Siemens certification; chilled water/liquid cooling sequences; EPMS integration.

Responsibilities

• Engineer BMS controls in the reference design: sequences, points lists, and graphics.
• Program and configure the platform: logic built, tested, and versioned like the software it is.
• Integrate the systems: chillers, CDUs, power monitoring, and third‑party equipment speaking one language.
• Support commissioning: functional tests executed, failures diagnosed, and fixes fed back into the standard.
