Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a senior technical authority for controls in data center operations. The successful candidate will lead BMS and equipment-level controls, ensuring operational readiness across multiple sites during a 50-75% travel commitment. You should have a strong background in programming and operating complex control systems, along with a solid grasp of modern BMS platforms like Ignition and Niagara.

This position's salary ranges from $150,000 to $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in programming and commissioning controls on complex central plants.
• Fluent in major BMS/BAS platforms and controls protocols.
• Strong skills in executing high-risk controls MOPs and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical audits on controls across sites.
• Own every material BMS change and standardize where necessary.
• Travel frequently across sites, engaging in fieldwork.

Skills

Programming and operating controls

BMS/BAS knowledge (Ignition, Niagara, etc.)

Fluency in BACnet, Modbus, SNMP

Root cause analysis experience

Teaching and mentoring ability

Education

Experience in critical environments
