Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to lead the Controls Deployment and Service (CDS) IT infrastructure programs across data centers. You will drive planning, execution, reporting, and risk remediation while collaborating with a broad set of engineers and partners.

You will own milestones, resourcing, and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement of CDS infrastructure programs in a fast-paced AWS environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing projects/programs across cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).

Responsibilities

• Define program requirements and end-states to gain buy-in from Controls leadership.
• Create program docs: SOWs, responsibilities, specs, implementation approach, metrics, reporting.
• Own program communications: status, metrics, business reviews; be a single point of contact.
• Develop milestones, secure resources, assign responsibilities, drive schedules for timely delivery.
• Drive decisions, mitigate risks, remove blockers, escalate where needed.
• Apply process improvements to enhance procedures and tools.
• Manage post-launch support plans, workflows, tickets, COEs, post-mortems; automate where possible.
• Collaborate with technical managers, engineers, and partner teams to set priorities and drive delivery.
• Support program roadmap and yearly projects and organizational goals.
