Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Site Lead to design, develop, and commission Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for large-scale data centers. You will lead control architectures, develop logic for PLCs/SCADA, and ensure system integration across HVAC, power, and monitoring platforms.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and reliability in mission-critical environments, with collaboration across clients, contractors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering (or related field).
• 7+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation; at least 3 years of data center BMS/EPMS experience preferred.
• Experience with Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, Ethernet/IP, or other industrial communication protocols.
• Understanding of electrical power monitoring, HVAC, and critical facility systems.
• Familiarity with instrumentation, control panel design, and network architectures.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities; customer-focused and team-oriented
• Willingness to visit local project sites during installation and commissioning phases.
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement control system architectures for BMS/EPMS across data center facilities.
• Develop and troubleshoot control logic and graphics for PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Integrate control systems with electrical and mechanical subsystems, coordinating HVAC, power distribution, and monitoring platforms.
• Lead or support commissioning activities to verify data points and signals are fully functional and documented.
• Diagnose control and communication issues, analyze system performance, and implement improvements.
• Prepare system documentation, I/O lists, and control drawings per project standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to define scope, deliverables, and schedules.
