Job summary

Prime Data Centers invites applications for a Data Center Controls Engineer to lead controls engineering on hyperscaler projects, including new construction, phased expansions, retrofits, and upgrades. You will draft and maintain rigorous design standards for BAS, BMS, EPMS, and DCIM systems across projects.

Collaborate with Construction, Procurement, and Operations to ensure cost, performance, and sustainability goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in building design and construction, focused on controls systems engineering for data centers.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain controls design standards for BAS, BMS, EPMS, and DCIM systems.
• Oversee development and updating of specifications, RFPs, and sequences of operation for control systems.
• Lead drafting and maintenance of Tridium Niagara 4 standards across control projects.
• Validate consultant and contractor deliverables for compliance with design standards.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure secure network connectivity for control systems and proper segmentation.
