Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to lead controls design for hyperscaler projects, drafting standards for BAS/BMS/EPMS/DCIM and coordinating with Construction, Procurement, and Operations.

The role requires 3+ years in building design with data center experience, expertise in Tridium Niagara 4, and proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, CxAlloy and MS Office. Competitive salary and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in building design and construction with controls systems focus.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara 4 for BMS/EPMS integration.
• Drafting and maintaining engineering standards for controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain controls design standards for BAS, BMS, EPMS, and DCIM.
• Develop specs, RFPs, and sequences of operation for control systems.
• Lead Niagara 4 standards across projects for consistency.
• Validate consultant deliverables to design standards.
• Coordinate with IT for secure network connectivity and segmentation.
