Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Data Center Construction in Appling, GA. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects from conception to commissioning, plan requirements with internal customers, and communicate risks to project stakeholders.

You will oversee data center design, development, construction, and commissioning, coordinating partner teams, managing schedules and budgets, and navigating fast-paced environments with strong problem-solving leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
• Ability to be on site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center projects from inception through to completion.
• Support special research and development experiments, renovations, and upgrades of existing facility.
• Be responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customer needs.
• Maintain end-to-end responsibility from construction to deployment.
• Resolve highly critical issues within the matrix organization while maintaining rigorous adherence to project timelines and costs.
