Job summary

Jobot is seeking a permanent Superintendent for Data-Center Construction to lead field operations on major, ground-up data-center projects across the United States. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily activities, and drive schedule, quality, safety, and field execution while collaborating with owners, engineers, and vendors.

The role emphasizes managing technically complex builds with significant scale and tight schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data-center construction, specifically in a superintendent role
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Proven track record of overseeing large-scale, ground-up construction projects
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city/county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship per plans and specifications
• Prepare internal and external reports on job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging ones
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques
