Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead data center construction projects across the United States. You will oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage daily activities, drive schedule performance, and ensure safety and quality in high‑tech facilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data-center construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints and manage complex, multi‑discipline builds on large-scale sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in data-center construction, specifically in a superintendent role.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Proven track record of overseeing large-scale, ground-up construction projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
