Job summary

Progressive Safety is actively seeking an experienced BCSP-certified Construction Safety Professional to support large-scale data center projects near Smithville, MO. This hands-on role emphasizes field presence and close collaboration with project leadership to uphold OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include site inspections, high-risk work planning, safety training, and maintaining documentation with Procore, Excel, and Teams. Per diem is available for travelers in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSH degree and BCSP certification required.
• Experience conducting site audits, inspections, and safety training.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with construction tech and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Identify hazardous conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Plan for high-risk construction activities via JHAs, PTPs, and safety meetings.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and safety presentations.
• Maintain all site safety documentation, including reports and training records.
• Investigate incidents and assist with documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership, subcontractors, and client representatives to promote safety culture.
• Provide emergency response support and assist with investigations.
• Utilize Procore, Excel, and Teams to maintain safety documentation.
