Job summary

System One is seeking a Construction Safety Professional to lead safety on a Cheyenne data center project. You will ensure OSHA compliance, run toolbox talks, perform JHAs, and coordinate with management and subcontractors across the site.

Requirements include 3–5 years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30‑Hour Construction certification, and strong communication and leadership. Competitive hourly pay of $40–$50, weekly payroll, and potential for long‑term project assignments are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Previous data center, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial construction project experience preferred.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction certification is required.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and construction safety best practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk active construction sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and field observations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project‑specific safety policies.
• Lead new hire safety orientations and daily toolbox talks.
• Perform Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, inspections, and training records.
• Work closely with project management, subcontractors, and craft personnel to identify and eliminate hazards.
• Monitor high‑risk activities, including crane operations, excavation, confined space, fall protection, hot work, and electrical safety.
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and employee engagement.
• Participate in owner and contractor safety meetings.
