Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Manager for our Phoenix, AZ business unit, overseeing a data center project in Tucson. The PM will lead administrative and field activities, manage schedules, risks, and budgets, and mentor project teams to meet quality standards and deadlines.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of commercial construction PM experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and related PM tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience including project management.
• Experience leading, teaching and mentoring teams.
• Education and experience in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project schedules and change orders.
• Oversee multiple medium-to-large projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly status reports and owner billings.
• Identify value engineering and scope reduction opportunities.
• Ensure safety plans are followed and communicated.
• Assist preconstruction efforts and manage buy-out processes.
• Understand contracts, budgets, insurances, and change orders.
