Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to work on a data center project in Tucson, AZ. You will support planning, buyout, management and closeout while monitoring schedule and budget under the Project Manager's guidance.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of project engineering experience, a related college degree, and data center exposure. Procore, JDE and Asta experience, plus strong leadership and communication, are highly valued.

Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years of project engineering experience.
Industry-related college degree is required.
Data center experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize, review, update, maintain and post construction documents and drawings.
Collaborate with project team to complete RFIs and submittals.
Review documents for accuracy against plans and specs.
Assist in inspections, audits, and non-conformance logs.
Monitor material and equipment delivery status.
Maintain project logs (buyouts, submittals, RFIs).
Understand subcontract scopes and purchase orders.
Track change requests and draft change orders.
Support project schedule management and meetings.
